Dr. Yang Yang is Director of the International Cooperation Department in Technology and Engineering, Center for Space Utilization (CSU), Chinese Academy of Sciences.
He gained his PhD in Wireless Communication and Networking from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2010, and continued to lecture at UCAS.
Since 2011, Dr. Yang has been involved in the space utilization mission of the China Manned Space Program. He was Project Manager for scientific mission planning for the Chinese Space Station, as well as for the Tianzhou cargo and Shenzhou manned spacecraft.
He is now Director of the International Cooperation Department at CSU, managing the international cooperation activities and projects linked to space utilization for the China Manned Space Program.
