A recent activity of congress organisation, in collaboration with The Italian Mars Planet Research & Innovation Society in 2018, was a two-day Mars to Earth conference, held at the Palazzo Pirelli, hosted by the Regione Lombardia, Milan. The event theme was 'Research on Mars for Development on Earth', including areas such as robotics, virtual reality, medicine and telecommunications, with the event attracting a wide audience from academia, education and industry. ​
