Richard Mendelson has been an educator for approximately 2 decades. His strengths lie in empirical research and solving problems for which others have difficulty in seeing solutions. He holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and his research interests include emotional intelligence, artificial intelligence, and chronic pain as it influences the performance of people in the workplace. Richard has published research in peer reviewed journals and presented for prestigious organizations, such as the Central European Bank and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He is a Member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), as well as the Consortium for Research for Emotional Intelligence in Organizations (CREIO).
Richard has consulted for the International Space Medicine Consortium, and serves as the Clinical Research Director for a Surgical Practice in Central Florida, focusing on the use of robotic microsurgical platforms for the treatment of chronic pain. Richard has also served as an Expert Witness/Consultant in civil litigation, as well as in American Military Courts operating under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), based on his expertise and acumen in multiple fields.
