Dr. Catherine Trundle is a medical anthropologist, senior lecturer and programme director of cultural anthropology at the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
She gained her PhD from Cambridge University in 2009. Her research specializes in contested illness, environmental health, inequality and wellbeing and the ethics of care.
She is secretary and a founder of SOMAA, the Society of medical Anthropology of Aotearoa (New Zealand).
