Maurício Machado da Rosa holds a degree in Computer Science, and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil, focused on research in Biomedical Engineering. He also has a specialisation qualification in Informatics in Education and Teaching in Higher Education, from PUCRS.
He acted for 6 years as a Professor of High Education in the Faculty of Informatics, Ritter dos Reis University Center (UNIRITTER), Brazil, also assuming the roles of Student Supervisor, Coordinator of Education Quality, and Member and Coordinator of the Research Ethics Committee. In addition, Maurício has been involved as an external tutor for IT undergraduate at-distance courses for the Leonardo da Vinci University Center, Brazil.
Maurício was a researcher at the Microgravity Centre, PUCRS, where he was engaged in research related to the areas of IT and Telehealth, and Data Science for research projects. Currently, he is integrated with the Cardiovascular Autonomic Function Lab of Physiology Institute (FMUL), Lisbon University, as well as fulfilling his role with InnovaSpace in the areas of Medical Systems & Information Technology.
